ABOUT PADDLEBOARDING
Paddleboarding is an off-shoot of surfing.
Stand up paddleboarding (also called SUP) is a surface watersport where paddle boarders stand on their boards and use a paddle to propel themselves.
The push-pull method is the most effective way of paddling when stand up paddle boarding. It requires inserting the paddle gently into the water ahead of the feet, and then pulling it backwards and lifting it back out of the water.
Paddleboarding uses special boards, designed specifically for gliding on top of the water.

WHAT THEY SAY
We had so much fun paddleboarding with Wake & Surf, we turned up on the day and they fit us in straight away. I’m so impressed with their customer service and they were all so friendly! We’ll definitely be back when we’re next in the Lake District.

Good location for paddleboarding. Staff were friendly and helpful and we all had a good time/laugh attempting to keep upright! Will definitely try SUP again.

We hired a paddle board which was great fun and gave us a great opportunity to explore and have fun in the lake. The organisers gave clear instructions prior to entering the water. The paddle board was in good condition and gave my kids an opportunity to have a go at water sports.
