AALA Licence
The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) is the licensing authority for outdoor activity centres for young people in Great Britain.
Adventure activities licensing ensures that activity providers follow good safety management practices. These should allow young people to experience exciting and stimulating activities outdoors without being exposed to avoidable risks of death or disabling injury.
The contract to provide inspection services on behalf of the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority was awarded to Adventure Risk Management Services (Adventure RMS) in 2020.
