ABOUT SUMMER CAMP
Summer 2024 we have Wake Surf Crew Summer Camp for children aged 6+
Whether you're on holiday, working during the summer holidays or you just want your kids to have some awesome fun while learning some amazing skills, then this is for you!
Each 3-day camp will cost £150 per child and runs Tuesday - Thursday at both our locations
Days run 9.30am - 3.30pm during the summer holidays.
Spaces limited to 12 children at each camp.
Please note: all Summer Camp participants will need to be competent swimmers to 50m.
SUMMER CAMP LOCATIONS
We run Summer Camps at both our locations.
They run weekly, Tuesday - Thursday.
9.30am - 3.30pm
We're very near Pooley Bridge, Penrith CA10 2NA, just 15 minutes drive from Junction 40 on the M6
Summer Camp will be open for bookings every week during the summer holidays for children 6+.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Summer Camp will run on a weekly programme and depending on the weather and water conditions, we have a range of activities we will choose from each day, including:
- Archery
- Den Building
- Paddle Boarding
- Raft Building
- Bush Craft
- Kayaks
Please note, all Summer Camp participants will need to be competent swimmers to 50m.
Each 3 day camp will cost £150 per child.
For Wake Surf Crew Summer Camp we will provide everything required for the activities but we ask each child wear appropriate clothing along with a complete change of clothes just in case. Please bring a pair of shoes that can get wet, like some old trainers. Bring a packed lunch and a bottle of water with everything clearly named.
And don't forget sun hats/sun protection!

ADDITIONAL INFO
We will provide everything required for the activities but we ask each child wear appropriate clothing along with a complete change of clothes just in case. Please remember hats and sunscreen!
Please also supply a packed lunch and a bottle of water with everything clearly named.
The days will consist of on land activities in the morning then after lunch we will hit the water.
During each week we will also do a water safety session.

PARKING INFORMATION
WATERSIDE HOUSE - visitor parking for one car is included with your booking. Additional vehicles must pay for parking at the Campsite Office on arrival.
PARK FOOT - visitor parking is £5 per car, per day. You can pay in advance HERE
Guests staying at Park Foot Holiday Camp can park for free.

Please make sure you arrive with us at least 20 minutes before your booked time slot.

Yes, we can take up to 12 children for each 3-day Summer Camp.
Prices are £150 per child for each 3 day camp.

We will provide everything required for the activities but we ask each child wear appropriate clothing for the various activities along with a complete change of clothes just in case. Please include a pair of shoes that can get wet too, like some old trainers.

And don't forget sunscreen / sunhats / sun protection on sunny days!
WHERE CAN I GET CHANGED?
We are based at two locations:
Waterside House Campsite has changing and shower facilities available.
The campsite also has a shop and pop-up café for breakfast, lunch and cake by the lake!
Park Foot Holiday Park has changing facilities next to the Ullswater Wake and Surf cabin. Shower facilities are available elsewhere on site.
WEATHER QUESTIONS...
The only time we will cancel a session is if we regard the conditions as dangerous.

CAN WE STAY NEARBY?
Yes, very close!
We are based at Waterside House Campsite right on the water's edge - it's an ideal base for exploring the Lakes.
There's camping, glamping, Tipi and Pod hire available.
We can also recommend the beautiful Edenhall Estate which has lots of amazing dog friendly accomodation options from woodland cabins, lake view cottages, loft-style apartments and family lodges.
There are also lots of places to stay in the Lake District.
COVID 19
We take all possible precautions to protect both our customers and ourselves.
All equipment, including our wetsuits are sanitised after each use and we ask that everyone visiting Ullswater Wake & Surf takes personal responsibility for themselves and others by taking all possible precautions as detailed in government guidelines.
We ask that if you or your child have any symptoms of COVID, or if you have been in contact with someone who has COVID that you call or email to reschedule your booking.
Please give us as much notice as possible!
