This means we do our best to abide by the policies and guidelines they provide to the sport as a whole.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Ullswater Wake & Surf adheres to the Code of Conduct guidelines set down by British Water Ski and Wakeboard.
Our aim is always to protect the concept that participation is for fun, enjoyment and achievement and we aim to achieve the best in good coaching practice at all times.

CODE OF ETHICS & BEHAVIOUR, EQUALITY, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
Ullswater Wake & Surf adheres to the British Water Ski & Wakeboard (BWSW) Code of Ethics & Behaviour which applies to all those involved in the sport of Water skiing at every level, including participants, Officials, Coaches, Instructors, Administrators, Club Officials, parents and spectators.
All such we have a responsibility to act according to the highest standard of integrity, and to ensure that the reputation of Water skiing is beyond reproach.
We respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person, participant and non-participant alike, treating everyone equally within the context of the sport. In particular, to be aware of the special needs of young people, their wellbeing, including difficulties or possible abuse experienced from within the sport or from other sources.
We have a duty to ensure that every child and young person involved in Water skiing is able to participate in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse.
We are committed to maintaining the highest possible standards of behaviour and conduct at all Water skiing training, competitions and events. We are opposed to discrimination of any form and will promote measures to prevent discrimination, in whatever form, from which it is expressed.
All those involved in Water skiing must respect the rights and choices of all human beings, treating everyone equally and sensitively regardless of their age, gender, ethnic origin, cultural background, sexual orientation, religion or political affiliation.
Allegations of a safeguarding nature and concerns about poor practice relating to the breaking of this Code must follow the BWSW Reporting Procedures.

The Codes of Conduct must be adhered to at all times so that Water skiing can be enjoyed by all.

SAFEGUARDING, PROTECTING CHILDREN & YOUNG PERSONS POLICY
Ullswater Wake and Surf is committed to ensuring that all young people who participate in
watersports have a safe and positive experience.
As members of British Water Ski and Wakeboard (BWSW) we recognise our moral and legal responsibilities under
current legislation and will use our best efforts to promote good practice to protect children.

ANTI-BULLYING POLICY
Bullying of any kind is unacceptable.
Ullswater Wake & Surf is committed to provding a caring, friendly and safe environment for everyone so they can eakeboard and wakesurf in a relaxed and secure atmosphere.
If bullying does occur then we will deal with incidents quickly and effectively.

PRIVACY POLICY
Ullswater Wake & Surf is legally bound to abide by the data protection principles embodied in current legislation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Our Cancellation Policy varies depending on which activity you book:
Wakesurf, Kneeboard and Luxury Boat Charter
All cancellations must be made at least 7 DAYS before the booking. Cancellations or no shows less than 7 days before the booking will be charged 100% of the total booking.
All Other Activities
All cancellations must be made a minimum of 48 HOURS prior to the booking.
Any no-shows or cancellations after this time will be charged 100% of the total booking.
In the rare event that Ullswater Wake & Surf considers the weather conditions to be unsuitable or dangerous we will do our best to reschedule your booking to another time that suits you, or fully refund your payment.
Refunds - for bookings and payments made via our online booking system, please be aware that refunds can take 3-5 days to reach your credit card/bank account depending on the financial institution.
